CandorQR Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 October 2026
1. Who we are
CandorQR, available at candorqr.com (the “Service”), is operated by HevraBest Group Ltd, a private company registered in Israel under company number 517045183 (“we”, “us”). You can contact us at support@candorqr.com.
2. Our reseller (Merchant of Record)
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) apply to your purchase in addition to these Terms.
3. The Service
- Static QR codes are generated in your browser free of charge. The content is encoded in the image itself. They do not depend on our servers and do not expire.
- Dynamic QR codes (1 on the Free plan, more on paid plans) encode a short link operated by us. We redirect it to a destination you can change. We record aggregate, non-personal scan statistics.
4. Accounts
You need an account for dynamic codes. You must give a valid email address, keep your credentials secure and be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country). You are responsible for activity under your account.
5. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown in USD. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle at checkout.
- You can cancel at any time in one click from the billing page (Paddle customer portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Code continuity: after your subscription ends, your existing dynamic codes keep redirecting to their last destination for 12 months. During this time you can't edit them or create new ones. After 12 months they show an “inactive” page unless you resubscribe.
- Pausing: instead of cancelling you can pause a paid subscription for 1 to 3 months. The pause starts at the end of the current billing period; while paused you aren't charged, your codes keep redirecting but can't be edited, and billing resumes automatically on the date shown (or earlier if you resume).
- Referral program: you can invite others with your personal link. When an invited person becomes a paying customer, you receive a credit equal to one month of your plan (up to 12 credits per year), applied to your next charge. Invited people may receive an introductory discount shown at checkout. Self-referrals, fake accounts and spam invitations are not allowed; credits have no cash value and may be withdrawn if obtained in breach of these terms. We may change or end the program with notice; earned credits remain valid.
- Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
- Consumers in Israel (Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981): you may cancel a purchase within 14 days of the transaction, or of receiving these terms in writing if that is later (section 14C). We refund in full and charge no cancellation fee. You may cancel a subscription at any time (section 13D): we stop all future charges no later than 3 business days after your notice, and refund anything charged after that. You can give notice from the billing page, by email to support@candorqr.com, or in any other way the law allows.
6. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may disable any dynamic code or suspend any account that breaks it, immediately and without notice where needed to protect people who scan the codes.
7. Restricted countries and sanctions
We don't offer accounts or paid plans to people or organisations located in, or ordinarily resident in, countries and regions where we're not permitted to do business or where our payment provider doesn't operate. Currently these are: Afghanistan, Antarctica, Belarus, Central African Republic, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Myanmar (Burma), Nicaragua, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Yemen, Zimbabwe, and the Crimea, Sevastopol, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine. You may not use the Service if you are on, or owned or controlled by someone on, a sanctions list maintained by the United Nations, the United States (including OFAC), the European Union, the United Kingdom or Israel. You confirm that this applies to you each time you sign up or pay. We may refuse, suspend or cancel an account or subscription (with a refund of any unused prepaid period, where the law allows it) if we reasonably believe this section is not met. We may update this list as the law or our payment provider's requirements change. The free QR code generator stays available to everyone.
8. Your content
You keep all rights to the content and destinations you provide. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and redirect to them solely to operate the Service. You confirm that you have the right to use any logos you add to QR codes.
9. Availability
We aim for high availability of the redirect service but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We recommend testing every code before printing.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as reprinting costs or lost profits. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will notify subscribers of material changes by email at least 30 days in advance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not affect mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
